Building on a 25-year international career in strategy, transformation and commercial leadership, I have spent the past 5+ years working with private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
I’m typically brought in when internal capacity is stretched — post-deal, mid-hold or during preparation for exit; and often to businesses navigating new markets or unfamiliar ownership structures.
I’ve transformed commercial operations for PE environments, integrated acquisitions, restructured operations in buy-and-build platforms and designed and executed revenue synergy strategies – delivering capital value and in-year profit uplift at ‘gear-change’ moments.
My focus is on financial and business services (with additional experience in manufacturing and adjacent sectors) — and where 'making a difference' requires a blend of transformation capability and hands-on commercial / operational leadership. Career-wise, I've worked at Marsh McLennan, McKinsey, Capgemini and AXA. The UK is my home market, with spent several years in the Middle East and project experience across Europe and the US.
I hold an MBA from London Business School and an MA from Oxford University, and I’m a qualified non-executive director. Outside work, I’m based in rural UK (not far from London — or an airport) and I spend as much time as I can on horseback.
