THE BRIEF:

Drive commercial traction following a take-private - align execution to investor growth ambitions across a fragmented platform .


THE ORGANISATION:

£300m financial and professional services group | UK HQ, international footprint | five operating companies. 


THE ROLE: 

Initially engaged in a transformation-focused capacity and then renewed as interim Chief Commercial Officer to lead a full-breadth commercial reset. 


IMPACT:

Changed the way the business goes-to-market and drives revenue | gave investors a sharper, more confident steer on growth momentum.  

 

Enhanced CRM discipline, introduced structure to key account focus, and balanced central direction with local execution. Delivered core revenue uplift and created headroom for cross-sell and revenue synergies — improving competitiveness and enabling entry into adjacent markets and segments.

2 - transform

integration and COMMERCIAL TRANSFORMATION LEAD – INDUSTRIAL BUY-AND-BUILD PLATFORM

THE BRIEF:

Create commercial alignment and scalability within a founder-led, acquisition-heavy buy-and-build platform — positioning it to deliver against private equity value expectations. 


THE ORGANISATION:

$200m specialist manufacturing and industrial group | 12 acquired SMEs across Europe and the US | mid-cycle, roll-up platform under PE ownership. 


ROLE: 

Brought in to lead platform integration, with a particular 'eye' on commercial transformation . 


IMPACT:

Changed the way a buy-and-build operates, goes to market and integrates M&A.  Transformed revenue-generating operations, systems and infrastructure - alongside migrating M&A onto evolving central-function platforms.  


Designed and embedded scalable go-to-market foundations and aligned sales & marketing rhythm - balancing entrepreneurial energy with investor-grade execution. Positioned the business to scale under PE ownership and to drive consolidation of its sector. 

3 - re-set

REGIONAL HEAD – MULTI-COUNTRY, MID-SIZE INSURANCE BROKING BUSINESS

THE BRIEF:

Stabilise and relaunch a mid-size, multi-country business unit following declining growth, margin erosion and deteriorating client confidence. 


THE ORGANISATION:

Insurance broking business operating across six countries in the Middle East | performing below its potential; and with fragmented delivery and low morale. 


ROLE: 

Appointed as Regional Head to lead both commercial and operational reset.  


IMPACT:

Changed how a six-country business goes to market, serves clients and operates.  Led a  transformation that redefined client service, growth strategy and the core technology operating model.   


Restored double-digit growth, improved margins and elevated the unit to top-quartile performance among global peers.  Created headroom for self-funded digital investment and opened the door to M&A exploration for geographic expansion.  

4 - integrate

INTEGRATION LEAD – £1.5BN MERGER OF TWO REGULATED INSURANCE ENTITIES

THE BRIEF:

 Deliver high-stakes post-merger integration across two regulated UK businesses — balancing commercial momentum, governance, and cultural complexity. 


THE ORGANISATION:

£1.5bn UK platform created through the merger of two global businesses | part of a global Fortune 500 group | multiple legacy leadership teams, structures, and incentive models 


ROLE: 

Seconded into a high-trust role to co-ordinate a complex 10-workstream integration across the full-breadth of a regulated merger.  


IMPACT: 

Changed how two legacy businesses operate and engage post-merger. Streamlined short-term operations, protected revenue continuity, and aligned leadership, governance, and structure to enable a single operating model.


Unlocked near-term synergies and laid the foundation for long-term commercial integration — balancing risk, regulatory scrutiny, and cultural complexity in a high-stakes, closely-watched environment.


5 - digitalise

Strategic Advisor – InsureTech for mid-size Listed Insurer

THE BRIEF:

Unlock growth and client value through client-facing InsureTech  — in a legacy environment and without the luxury of deep investment. 


THE ORGANISATION:

A mid-market European listed insurer looking to cement its position and leap-frog competitors - constrained by legacy systems and limited investment headroom. 


ROLE: 

Engaged as a strategic advisor to shape the Group's InsureTech direction — working directly with key functional leadership and alongside client management and internal tech teams. 


IMPACT:

Changed the way a Group thinks about and approaches InsureTech  — from abstract future potential to a near-term, value-generating lever.


Defined a focused, phased strategy aligned to tangible RoI - and centred on client acquisition, retention and operational efficiency.    Prioritised practical, commercially-grounded initiatives that balanced ambition with capital constraints.  


Brought clarity to the role of digital in the client value chain and gave leadership a roadmap they could act on immediately.
